The
importance of the subject of ecclesiology should be obvious to all
who seriously contemplate the fulfillment of the Great Commission.
To those who are actively engaged in missionary work, as well as to
those who carry on the responsibilities of the settled pastorate,
the challenge of constantly evaluating our practices in the light
of the divine standard is inescapable.
In our day of multiplied confusion about so many aspects of Christian
activity it becomes imperative for the Christian worker to arrive
at firm conviction in the area of practical service. Unless these
persuasions regarding the nature of his ministry and its associations
are founded upon a comprehensive philosophy which has a solid Biblical
basis, he will be relatively ineffective. |
